Becky Matthews has handled all positions within the company since 1982.  She is now the senior partner of Guaranty Title Company.  Not being a native of Leon County, she moved to Centerville with her husband, Ray in 1980.  She is actively involved in church, charitable and community organizations.  Most of her spare time is spent with her family.

Becky is dedicated to provide the best possible service to her customers.  Her concern is to make each and every transaction as smooth and as swift as possible, always expertly tending to the details inherent in any successful real estate closing.
Donna Bell has several years experience in the title business.  She begin working at Guaranty Title Company in 1988, and has worked in several aspects of the business, including abstracting, issuing policies/commitments, closings, customer service and accounting/escrow services.  In January 2005, she became one of the owners of the business.

On a personal note, Donna and her husband, Larry Wayne ("Wayney") have two children, Brandi, who graduated from Blinn College in 2004 with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences, and is a Licensed Vocational Nurse, and Stacey, who currently attends Temple College and plays on the Temple College Tennis Team.  Donna and Larry have deep family roots in Leon County, they date as far back as the late 1800's.  Donna's parents currently own property that was first patented to her great-great grandfather near Centerville.  The land and people of this community are very important to them.

  As far as community service, Donna has served on several church committees, and been actively involved in many community organizations as well.  She has volunteered for several community projects, and participated in various fundraisers supporting school activities and community efforts.  Larry is also very involved in the community; he has served on church committees, teaches Sunday school, and currently serves as a member of the Centerville ISD Board of Trustees.  They are members of First Baptist Church of Centerville, Texas.
Theresa Roach is no newcomer to Leon County.  She and her husband, Herbie are lifelong residents of Leon County.  Theresa came to Guaranty Title Company with experience dealing with land appraisals.  She worked for the Leon County Appraisal office for several years, joining Guaranty Title in 1995.  Theresa is now a co-owner of the company.

Theresa and her husband enjoy hitting the road on their Gold Wing.  Having rode from Texas to Canada, you can say they are seasoned riders.

Theresa is involved with all aspects of the office, also, but her specialty is dealing with mortgage brokers.
Cindy joined the staff of Guaranty Title Company in November 2000, little did she know that one day she would follow in the footsteps of her father Tom Holmes, the founder of the company in 1973.

Cindy has lived in Centerville most of her life. She did venture off to other cities and states to seek fame and fortune, but found her way back to Centerville where she now lives with her husband, Elbert, and a beautiful daughter named Emily Kay born in July 2005. Cindy has three wonderful step children Travis, Cody and Sky.

Cindy is a licensed Escrow Officer and conducts a great deal of the real estate closings for Guaranty Title Company. With her friendly nature and professional attitude she has become a definite asset to the closing department. She also coordinates files for funding and handles the curative work prior to funding. When needed, she steps in and does title policies and commitments also.
If you have ever been in our office, you will be greeted by Rita Aghaei.  She is always there to help with a smile.

Rita joined the title industry in 2002, after being in the banking industry for 20 years.  Rita is a life long resident of Centerville.  Having grown up in Leon County she knows mostly everyone coming through the doors, giving her that personal touch, which is hard to come by these days.

Efficiency and Friendliness is what Rita is all about.

Rita resides here in Centerville with her husband George, who is a manager of 3 major food restaurants in the Bryan-College Station area.  They enjoy spending time with their family and working in the yard.

The First United Methodist Church relies on Rita and all of her management skills to keep things running smoothly.

Betty Smith has worked for Guaranty Title Company for several years.  Having joined the company in 1997, she worked until January 2000.  To our delight, she returned to our office in September 2004 working part time.  She has a great deal of knowledge in problem solving, having owned her own business for several years.  Betty is our Abstracting Coordinator, and her primary duties are abstracting and the organization of that department.

Betty and her husband, Charles, have lived in Centerville since 1973.  They are very proud of their son Chad who earned a Computer Science Degree from Sam Houston State University and was married in April 2007.  He and his lovely wife, Grace, live in Houston, Texas. 

In 1982, Betty opened her own business, and built a very successful flower shop that she sold in 1996.  Betty not only has talent in the flower business, but her expert sewing talents are in high demand.  At the office, she is non-stop and productive.  She loves to stay busy, and also enjoys taking trips with Charles in their RV and quilting.

Desiree Burleson became part of Guaranty Title Company in May 2006, before graduating from Centerville High School.  Having explored her life as a college student, she decided to forego her career as a dental hygienist and become a mother.

 Her duties include document scanning, indexing, filing, and general office duties.

Desiree was raised in Centerville, and married her high school sweetheart, Ricky Burleson.  Ricky is a native of Centerville and so naturally they made there home here.  They have just welcomed their first child, Wyatt, into their home.

Desiree also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Amber Hodges joined Guaranty Title Company in September 2006 to help computerize Guaranty Title Company.  She scans recorded documents in the Leon County Courthouse and imports them into our system.  She also examines and indexes documents, and has taken on other duties such as setting up new files and answering the telephone.  If her face looks familiar, you may have seen her on the weekends working at a locally owned family restaurant.  Amber is a 2002 graduate of Normangee High School, and has lived most of her life in Normangee (Madison County) Texas.  She and her husband, Matthew Hodges have made Normangee their home.  Matthew was raised in Madison County and graduated from Madisonville High School.  Amber is very happy to be part the Guaranty Title Company team.
Cathy Dunn-Charanza joined Guaranty Title Company in 2006.  Her main duty is computerizing the records of Guaranty Title Company creating CD's and making the office paperless.  She has made the information more accessible and easier to review for the abstractors to aid in their title runs.
 
Cathy is a native of Centerville (Leon County) Texas.  Her parents are Arthur and Christine Rodell-Dunn.  She has two daughters that graduated from Baylor University.  Hope Knight, who is an attorney in Huntsville, Texas, and Kelli Knight Harmon, a CPS Supervisor in Waco, Texas who blessed her with a wonderful grandson, named Jonathan.

Cathy and her husband, John Charanza, Jr., have been married for 11 years.  She has 3 stepsons, Tim, John III, and Chris.  They have blessed Cathy and John, Jr. with 6 grandchildren.  John, Jr. is employed by Flint Energy, Inc. and he enjoys building furniture and other decorative pieces out of old barn wood.  They both enjoy working in their yard, camping and attending car races.  She also enjoys playing the piano, reading growing flowers, and spoiling her grandchildren.  Cathy and John, Jr. are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Centerville, Texas.
Melanie Trant joined Guaranty Title Company in August 2006, as an Abstractor.  Her other duties also include copying and mailing commitments and policies.  Currently, she is learning how to do most of the curative work need prior to closing.

Melanie is a native of Bryan, Texas, and was raised in the Bryan/College Station, Texas area where she attended school.  She and her husband, Mike Trant, moved to Leon County in July 1999.  They have four children, Ryan who is a senior at Iola ISD, Travis, Tyler and Tara who attend Centerville ISD.  They have enjoyed raising their children in a small town and are happy to call Leon County their home.

Melanie has served on church and school committees, and loves to volunteer in the classroom as well.  She and her family are founding members of the Cowboy Church of Leon County where she serves as the Church Secretary.
