Guaranty Title Company, Centerville, Texas, Leon County


	Tony S. Boykin President	Tony Boykin has served as President of Guaranty Title Company since 1984. Tony holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s Degree in Business from Sam Houston State University. Tony is a native of Leon County and has lived with his wife Pat in Centerville since 1992. Before that, they lived in Leona, where Tony served for a number of years on the city council. Tony’s community involvement includes several terms as treasurer for the Centerville Chamber of Commerce, an appointment to the Leon County Emergency Services District, where he served as President, and election to the office he presently holds as President of the Centerville Economic Development Corporation.
	Becky Matthews Office Manager Escrow Officer	Becky Matthews began working for Guaranty Title Company of Leon County in December 1982. Being new in the business, her initial assignments included assembling together microfilm copies, filing, answering the phone, handling the mail, and running errands. As she became more familiar with the business additional duties were added to her job. Becky did abstracting and typed policies. She also typed commitments and worked with customers. In July of 1984 the company implemented several changes, including computerization of several functions in the office. Eventually the entire office was automated. Becky was the only employee present during the entire evolution, so she trained all new personnel on the computer equipment. In 1988 Becky was promoted to Office Manager and Escrow Officer. Her duties today include supervising the entire staff, closing transactions including commercial and mortgage loans, disbursing funds, title examinations and customer services. Becky was voted 2002 Employee of the year by the Centerville Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband Ray have three sons and three granddaughters.
	Donna Bell	Donna Bell has 15 years experience at Guaranty Title Company. She has worked in several aspects of the business, including abstracting, issuing policies/commitments, closings, customer service and accounting/escrow services. On a personal note, Donna and her husband, Larry Wayne have two children, Brandi and Stacey. Donna and Larry have deep family roots in Leon County that date as far back as the late 1800's. Donna's parents own property that was first patented to her great-great grandfather. The land and people of this community are very important to them. Donna has served on several church committees and as an association leader. For the past three years, she has held the office of Secretary for the Centerville Tiger Boosters, and was a past Secretary for Centerville Girls Little Dribblers. Donna has volunteered for several community projects, including the Leon County Scholarship Pageant, Annual Talent Show to benefit the Ambulance/Fire Dept., and various fund raisers supporting school activities and community efforts.
	Theresa Roach	Theresa joined Guaranty Title Company in 1995 as a customer service and escrow officer. Theresa has lived in Leon County for 30 years has two children, two step-children and two grandchildren. Theresa Roach joined Guaranty Title Company in 1995 as a customer service representative and has just recently acquired her escrow officer’s license. She helps with closings along with her other duties. Theresa has been around the real estate business for several years. Prior to joining Guaranty Title Company she worked at the Leon County Central Appraisal District for over 4 years. Theresa is a 30 year resident of Leon County and is married to Herbert Roach, whose family are also long time residents of Leon County. When Theresa and Herbie aren’t riding their motorcycle to Colorado they are enjoying their four children and two grandchildren.
	Cindy Jo Page	Even though Cindy Jo Page is fairly new to the title business, having joined Guaranty Title Company in November of 2000, little did she know that she would follow in the footsteps of her father Tom Holmes, the founder of the company in 1973. Cindy Jo has lived in Centerville most of her life. She did venture off to other cities and states to seek fame and fortune but found her way back to Centerville where she now lives with her husband and three step children. Cindy Jo's primary duties at the office include abstracting, filing and customer service. She is also the Technology Specialist for the office. Cindy Jo maintains the office computerized deed records along with the district court records.
	Rita Aghaei	Rita Aghaei joined Guaranty Title Company in 2002 as our policy supervisor. She has 20 years experience in the banking industry Rita is a lifetime resident of Leon County and has two grown children Rita Aghaei joined Guaranty Title Company in the year 2002 as the policy supervisor. Prior to this she was employed by the banking industry. Rita is a life long resident of Leon County. For over 17 years, her husband George has managed three Kettle Restaurants in College Station. They have two grown children. They are proud of their son being in the US Coast Guard stationed at Long Beach, Washington. Rita is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Centerville, where she is involved with several committees and is the assistant choir director.
	Wendy Currie	Wendy Currie, the newest employee of Guaranty Title Company, started in July 2003. She is currently learning the ropes of abstracting. Wendy has experience working with the public and enjoys meeting new people. Wendy stays busy chasing around her two year old, Taylor. She is a life long resident of Leon County having recently moved to the Centerville area. She is recently engaged to Eddie and they plan to make their home here. Along with tending to Taylor, she enjoys her horse, Colt-45, and fishing.
	Stacey Bell	Stacy Bell has worked at Guaranty Title part time for the past two summers, performing general office duties including sorting mail, filing, and answering the phone. She is a Sophomore at Centerville High School and enjoys playing sports, such as tennis, basketball, and volleyball, and is also active in her church youth group. Stacey is a member of the Future Chamber of Commerce.
